Biodiversity Pavilion — Musée de la Cour d’Or

Metz Métropole localisation du projet Metz

An immersion into the heart of living things, a visual, auditory and interactive journey through the infinite richness of ecosystems.

Opening in August 2025, the Biodiversity Pavilion is a 360 m² space where visitors can discover biodiversity, understand it and take action to preserve it.

The Pavilion aims to present and promote the museum’s rich natural history collections in a way that addresses the universal theme of biodiversity.

The creation of the Biodiversity Pavilion within the Musée de la Cour d’Or responds to the desire of the Metz Metropolitan Area – which has been committed to ecology and the preservation of biodiversity for many years – to showcase historical natural history collections that have not been on display since 1973.
