BâtiCité

CD2E localisation du projet Loos-en-Gohelle

BâtiCité is an immersive, interactive and evolving exhibition dedicated to sustainable building, unique in France, located in the former engine room of the emblematic mining site of 11/19 in Loos-en-Gohelle (a Unesco World Heritage Site).

Today, the systematisation of a “sustainable building” quality requirement is essential, both for new buildings and for renovation. This implies a significant improvement in energy performance, the reduction of environmental impacts and a better consideration of the comfort, health and quality of life of users.

It is in this context that the CD2E, (Accelerator of the eco-transition of companies and territories in Hauts-de-France since 2002), has designed this unique awareness, training and exchange space in France.

This exhibition is the 2.0 version of the Ecoconstruction Theatre, which for more than 8 years (2012) has allowed more than 6,000 visitors to experience first-hand the challenges and techniques of sustainable building. A space to “see, touch and understand” the evolutions of the building trades.
