The Musée Lorrain is a museum of art and history located in the heart of the old city of Nancy, in an exceptional heritage site that includes the Palace of the Dukes of Lorraine, the church and convent of the Cordeliers and the Government Palace. The project was to extend and completely renovate its spaces. It eventually allows the redeployment of a unique collection of 150,000 works and also presents and gives an understanding of the history of the region – artistic, political, ethnological or social – from prehistory to the present day, within 5 thematic paths, inaugurated by 2022 with the opening of the “historical path”. In this context, a multimedia mediation program is fully involved in this prefiguration phase of the Museum.

Our role :

Anamnesia was in charge of the conception and production of the multimedia contents to accompany the works in the exhibition. The virtual books allow visitors to discover the graphic works in the collection. A projection on a model allows visitors to situate Nancy in 1611 and an animated map presents the French push into Lorraine under Louis XV. Finally, a film on the crossed destinies of François III and Stanislas retraces the dynastic change that took place at the head of the duchies of Lorraine and Bar.
