The Napoleonic Wars

Deutsches Historisches Museum localisation du projet Berlin

The Deutsches Historisches Museum in Berlin is the National Museum of German History. On more than 7,500 sqm, the permanent exhibition documents the political events and cultural and social developments of Germany over more than 2,000 years. A wing of the building designed by architect I.M. Pei houses the interactive temporary exhibitions, including the one commemorating the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Leipzig, which opened in August 2013.

Our role:

We designed and produced, in close collaboration with the museum’s historians and scientists, an interactive map tracing the troop movements of Napoleon’s army across Europe from 1796 to 1813. This map can be consulted within the exhibition and on the museum’s website.
