Aube Resistance Museum
Commune de Mussy-sur-Seine Mussy-sur-Seine
Initially created in 1967 by members of the Mussy-Grancey F.F.I. maquis, known as the Montcalm maquis, the Resistance museum at Mussy-sur-Seine has reopened its doors after 3 years of renovation. The museum’s theme has now been extended to include the Occupation of the département during the Second World War and the careers of the Resistance fighters from the Aube.
Redesigned and enlarged, the tour extends over three rooms to provide a better understanding of Resistance actions during the first years of German occupation, the plurality of the Aube maquis and the consequences of the involvement in the Resistance in the Aube department.
