Rodin’s sculpture techniques
Rodin Museum

The sculptor Auguste Rodin opened a studio in the Hôtel de Biron. In 1911, the State bought it and Rodin decided to donate his collections under the condition that a museum would be dedicated to his work, within the hotel. The hotel is surrounded by an exceptional estate, in the heart of Paris. The former 19th century chapel houses, among other things, an exhibition room that was entirely renovated between 2012 and 2025.
Our role :
Anamnesia was in charge of the design and production of several films on Rodin’s work and its manufacturing techniques: lost wax casting, marble cutting. Animation, motion design, editing of archival images… the whole creative palette is put to the service of a content of mediation in situ by the animated image, a first for the teams and the visitors of the museum.
